Thank you for visiting my website. This Sunday I am going to be running The London Marathon to raise money for post adoption services throughout the south of England.
After the Marathon I shall be holding a "Re-Hydration" event at the Number 49 Bar on Aldgate High Street.

Anyone who has been involved in adoption knows that adoption isn't a one off event. It is a part of life that will be with you forever. Whether you are adopted, have adopted or have placed a child for adoption it will effect you for the rest of your life.
I only know this through my own experience. For those of you who don't know me, my name is John Dunne, I was adopted by a very loving family as a baby and now I have contact with my birth parents and their family. This was only made possible by people like CABRINI and CCS ADOPTION. Without people like them I wouldn't be here.
Because of this I'm trying to raise some money for CABRINI and CCS ADPTION by running the London Marathon. I'm not asking anyone to run it with me. I'd just like you all (and your families and friends) to come down to the Number 49 Bar and just make sure I'm taking on enough liquid afterwards. (You might even like to join in and have a drink or two yourself? | |
